Unaccounted For

It is cold. 

 It is raining.

It is dark.

You crank the engine, turn on the heat, and pull onto the road.

Frantically, you turn the radio volume up only to be met with suffocating static.

Your unsteady fingers turn channels so fast they almost slip off the dial.

You're looking for something. Anything to push out the static flooding your ears.

a voice.
